K&H Self-Warming Pet Crate Pad, 14-Inch by 22-Inch, Gray (Misc.) I purchased this as a mat for my cats to use on the floor (and to use in their carrier when we go to the vet), and they do seem to like it. The gray color is nice and looks good with my other decor. However, the slits in the corners are very visible and unattractive. It really only works in a crate/carrier.

K&H Outdoor Kitty House, Heated (Misc.) This exceeded all my expectations and meets the needs of our outdoor feral cat perfectly! It’s very well designed, just the right size (less space to heat than the igloos and easier to find room for), very easy to assemble, and inobtrusive. The two doors allow an escape if a predator approaches, and the overhung roof affords additional protection from the elements. Best of all, our feral cat took to his house instantly and now spends almost all his time in it, looking rather regal. As for us, we sleep better on cold nights knowing he has a house. Very, very pleased!

Slumber Pet Thermal Cat Mat – Color Gray (Misc.) I bought this pet thermal mat for my cat because she likes to sleep in the basement at night. She is almost 18 yrs. old & I was feeling bad every time she’d go there because I know she’s not going outside as much in the winter, because it’s cold & it’s not warm downstairs. Petmate 30-by-40-Inch Heated Ortho Pet Bed (Misc.) I purchased two of these beds for my older, arthritic dogs. My dogs are enjoying the heat although one has problems maneuvering on it. When I took them out of the bags I noticed that one of the heating pads was a lot smaller than the other. I contacted the company and found out that they ‘ran out’ of the correct size heaters so were substituting the smaller. The smaller is only 9 inches square and is not nearly big enough for the large bed. They promised to send me the correct pad as soon as their shipment arrived. If you purchase this bed, make sure they send you the large pad which measures about 10 by 16. I wouldn’t have known they were sending me the wrong product if I hadn’t of bought two.

K&H 3093 Extreme Weather Kitty Pad with Fleece Cover (Misc.) My cat wants to stay on the screened in back porch in his little house all the time , no matter how cold it is outside. K&H Lectro-Soft Heated Outdoor Bed , Small (Misc.) We now own three of these heated pet beds, and if the reactions of our cats are any indication, these are the best things since catnip! We put one inside a pet carrier wrapped with a blanket, with another one on top of the carrier. The third one is in a patio chair, and all three see heavy use on a daily basis. We really appreciate the washable fleece cover that comes with each pad, as well as the metal coil surrounding the electrical cord, which keeps the cord safe from a pet that might otherwise chew on the power cord. The pad itself is wrapped in a plastic skin which repels water, in the event of direct exposure to moisture. For outdoor use they work great, which was the main reason we bought them. However, they work fine inside, as well.Power usage is minimized by a weight-sensitive switch inside each pad that only turns the heating element on when there is a pet actually sitting or laying on the pad. The element heats up pretty quickly, but does not get terribly hot. With the plastic skin and fleece cover, it proveds a very welcome, very comfortable warm spot on cold days.For the price, these are fantastic, though this model is for smaller animals, like cats. Even so, these will do just as well with small dogs. If you need something for larger pets, you can’t go wrong with this brand. We give this item an easy 5 of 5 stars!

K&H Igloo Style Heated Pad Cover, 11-1/2-Inch by 18-Inch, Small (Misc.) I bought this cover after reading reviews about it not staying on very well, but needed something that size and shape that would fit the heater for the cat igloo so I bought it anyway. It doesn’t stay on well and when I check in the igloo it’s usually off and I put it back on. I may look to see if there is a way to tighten it on their better.
